In the year 1988, our Guru Swami Parthasardhi Pillai founded the World Ayyappa Seva trust. World Ayyappa Seva Trust is the largest Ayyappa Devotees Organization in the world which is inclusive of all groups of Ayyappa Devottes in the North American Continent and around the World. Most of the spiritual activities are effectively organised by the trust. Its overall goals includes uniting Ayyappa devotees around the world by enhancing the education in SANADHANA DHARMA philosophy among the world wide community, creating a forum to build family networks, and by providing direction for the spiritual activities.The moving spirit of this trust is none other than blessings of LORD AYYAPPA .
The World Ayyappa Seva Trust, as a whole in its broadest perspective, dedicates itself to the welfare of society at large by imparting Educational, Medical, Cultural and Social Services under the guidance and directives of Guru Swami.Guru Swami means those who had gone to Sabarimala with Irumudi at least 18 times Moreover, a guru swami is a spiritual teacher and master whose identification with the supreme Self is uninterrupted. The unique and rare quality of a Guru swami is his capacity to awaken the Spiritual energy in seekers through bhajans .As a Guru swami he carries out his mission of awakening seekers to their own potential for enlightenment by bestowing Lord Ayyappa .He guides the devotees on this mystical journey toward God, helping to move beyond our own limitations and to reach our goals. Guru Swami also expresses great love and reverence to all human beings. For the past 15 years Guru Swamy has been taking piligrims from the USA to Sabarimala .
Guru swamy coordinates Bhajans for the past 35 years in diffrent temples in north East America . First time in the history of United States Irumdi Pooja has been introduced which inculdes the concept of Padi Pooja by Sri Parthasarady Pillai . This year World ayyappa Seva Trust is Celebrating its Silver Jubilee of its existence .
To commemorate the the Silver jubilee of World Ayyappa Seva Trust we are organizing the first ever World Ayyappa Bhakatha Sangamam . Irumudi Procession , Ayyappa Yajnam and Naree Pooja are also being performed in this convention. This will be the highlight of Mahwah WAST convention.
